Kwonnie had implemented ISO 9002 and ISO 9001 quality system in 1995 and 1998 respectively to support our "Quality First" policy. In 2003, the certificate was upgraded to ISO9001:2000 certification which proves Kwonnie as a quality manufacturer. We further achieved the certification of ISO 14000:2004 in 2007 and ISO 9001-2008 certification in 2010. The quality system applies from raw materials to finished goods ensuring manufacturing process at different stages are properly inspected and tested.
The quality system at Kwonnie encompasses from product enquiry to after-sale service. The development of quality system did not end with compliance to ISO 9001 alone. Instead, it continually evolves with the business development and growth as well as learnings from international customers. Besides of adoption of mistake proofing in both product and process design, particular attentions have been given to the most important process at Kwonnie - New Product Development - leading to a re-design of this process associated with adoption of both concurrent engineering & stage-gate principles.
